How to use iBeauti

An ordered list of products, each with a note and a place on a face chart. It is yours: you build it, you change it, and nobody else reads it unless you publish it.

Press New routine and add one step at a time — the product, what you do with it, and a tap on the face to say where it goes. You can do all of that without an account; you need one to save it.

Unfinished work is kept as a draft. Drafts lists what is waiting, and opening one carries on where you left off.

Point the camera at the barcode on the pack. If the catalog knows that code the product fills itself in, and if it does not, the add-product form opens with the code already on it.

Add it — a name and a brand are enough, and it goes into your routine straight away. Somebody reviews it before it turns up in anybody else’s search.

What you own, your wishlist, and what you have starred, in one list you can search. It is the answer to “have I already got this” while you are standing in a shop.

A folder is a group of routines you want to keep together, and your home screen shows a section for each one. Hold a card to move it between folders, and press Edit to change the order.

It gives the routine an address of its own that the people following you can read. Your private notes never travel — only the notes you wrote to be read, and the products themselves.

Following is one-directional. If your account is private somebody has to ask and you decide; if it is public anybody with an account can follow you without asking.

Somebody you follow who also follows you, and a consultant you have done a makeover with. Somebody you follow can send you a request, which you accept or decline. Blocking somebody ends all of it.

Scanning it opens a routine built with them on your own phone, filed where the code says. The routine is yours to keep and change; the consultant keeps a record that the makeover happened.

Your public address — ibeauti.com followed by the name you choose. It is how somebody reaches your profile, and you set it on your account screen.

You can give a product or a published routine one to five stars. Ratings are only ever shown as totals and averages, never beside your name.

The sign-in screen sends a recovery mail carrying both a link and a six-digit code — the phone asks for the code, the web follows the link. If the mail does not arrive, report it from this page: the bug form works signed out.
